NPFC

This site supports the general information publishing needs of the North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC) as well as supporting ongoing meetings of the Scientific Committee, Technical and Compliance Committee and the Finance and Administration Committee. Members of the convention maintain registration details of their fishing fleets as well as sightings of illegal, unreported and unregistered fishing activities.

Responsible for most of the North Pacific Ocean, the NPFC implement the Convention on the Conservation and Management of High Seas Fisheries Resources in the North Pacific Ocean, ensuring long-term conservation and sustainable use of the fisheries resources and protecting the marine ecosystems there.

Current Members include Canada, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, Chinese Taipei, the United States of America and Vanuatu.
